• Download the specific product library in .edz or .zip format.

How to Import EDZ Files into EPLAN P8

Once you have downloaded the .edz file to your computer, follow these steps to integrate it:

1. Open EPLAN: Go to the Utilities menu.

2. Parts Management: Select Parts > Management.

3. Import: Click on the [Extras] button and select Import.

4. File Format: In the “File type” dropdown, choose EPLAN Data Portal exchange format (.edz).

5. Select File: Browse to your downloaded CHINT file and click OK.

6. Configuration: Choose “Add new records only” to avoid overwriting your existing data.
